MORNING SHIFT

The Hawk Kitchen Outpost 8:43am
The Sun is hitting The Sea again
burnishing It with Silver
The Clouds have moved across
and above
as the northward horizon
calls to Me
to look

The Sun is hitting The Sea again
burnishing It with Silver
The Clouds have moved across
and above
as the northward horizon
calls to Me
to look
And look we must!
This poem inspired me to give the sky an extra look tonight. Thank you for that, Joanna.
Thank you Natalie for your comment. It is so nice to have you back. I am enjoying your poems. Do you live in a heavily populated area?
It feels good to be back! I’m so glad you are enjoying my new work. And no actually, I live in a slow and dreamy corner of the Midwest. What makes you ask?
You seem to have the kind of intensity I would associate with an urban or suburban personality.
