What Birds Do You See?
Are They Black Or White
& What Does That Mean?
I love the title. Just what I needed to read today. I also like how you don’t answer the questions for us. So the poem is not a pat response to the title. In allowing us to answer for ourselves you empower us.
Thank you Jill — I did not deliberately write it — it just came out that way — actually only the TITLE came to me at first. Thanks again for your observation about the empowerment.
I really enjoyed the way this poem surprised me. I also really enjoy the way you sanctify the mundane.
I so appreciate your comments, Jill.
