STAY-AT-HOME-PRINCESS

The Hawk Queen Bed 9:02am

Snow White’s dwarfs

go off to work

mining gem stones

every morning

My Husband goes off

to The Salt Mines

of Humanity

& leaves Me to The House

The Cooking

& to My Awaited

Kiss

WHILE MAKING COFFEE

The Hawk Kitchen Outpost 8:11am

I open My Window

to the cries of gulls

& flash My Eyes against

the light out over

My Morning Ocean

CLOSE-KNIT

The Tomato-coloured Couch 3:10pm

There is safety in talking

about the weather

but not in asking

about the doings of someone new:

“I don’t know the girl —

she writes poetry”

Grand Egyptian by Cambridge

The Hawk En Suit Bath 11:04am

I dried My Head

in a sea of Purple

& looked to see

My Flanks flecked

with galactic lint

or was it the inception

of insects

that I wore?

UPON WAKING EARLY

The Hawk Queen Bed 6:24am

The Sky is aflame

with The Rising Sun

& I have seen multitudinous

stars

at the start

of My Day

YOUR TIME

July 17, 2015 The Hawk Queen Bed 10:00pm

Your Years are like

a possession —

whatever decade you

happen to be in —

Those Years belong

to You

“You’ll Have To Do Another Sculpture”

The Hawk West Desk Window 9:38pm

He lay flat out

My Longest Cat

black before The Window

of The Sun having

gone

MY LOVELY FRIEND

The Hawk Deck 11:30am

I Saw A Star Of Blue

within My Field Of Red

It came behind a thought

as I languished in My Bed

It struck Me of A Friend

so very dear to Me:

She is starkly beautiful

and lives in misery

PRIVATE SIGN

The Tomato-coloured Couch 4:40pm

I saw A Silver Star

in My Sea of Red

It told Me of My Thought

That Moment in My Head

VIRAL PNEUMONIA

The Hawk Deck 1:41pm

I have An Inclusion

in My Left Lung

It has Me grounded

but not kept Me

from sculpting Hunter’s

Silver Head

& I am proud
