INTERVIEW WITH GOD

The Tomato-coloured Couch 9:11pm

Q:  God, what has made You

appear in this time We are in?

A:  I have been here all along —

yet I have revealed My Self through

The Light Of Silver

apparent only in the Dawning

Of The Dark.

Q:  Do You feel We are entering

a period of Darkness?

A:  Yes, We are already here.

Q:  How do You see Us getting out?

A:  When All Of Humanity

comes to the realization

that It, Humanity, is

The Collective Mind

of God — We will have begun

Our Exit from The Dark

into The Celebration

Of The Dark,

The Unknown.

Q:  Are We entering a period of

The Unknown?

A:  Yes, there too We are already in It.

Q:  Do We need to turn to alien intelligence

to cope?

A:  Nope.  We have what It takes.

We must simply measure Our Minds of today

with those of the past.

We must look back

in order to see

Our Future.

FAILED LAUNDRESS

The Hawk Living Room 2:35pm

Dr Blair makes a striking figure

even in pants from the dirty laundry

— I didn’t get His Jeans dried on time —

so off He went to do a house call

in spotted cargo pants

black leather jacket

& stethoscope in hand

A fine head of Silver Hair

graces the brow

of My Husband —

He dresses in Jeans

for Casual Friday

while I fix

His Silver Cat Pendent

around His Neck

I fix His Plain Oatmeal

instant with raisins

& cinnamon

while He sits

before His Computer

reading of worldly events

at quarter to eleven

He rises to put on His Shoes

black Eccos from over six years ago

& gets His Coat —

a leather jacket made in China

from over twenty

He kisses Me at the door

before He drives away

in His black 2000 Lincoln LS

to His Office in Barrington

where He attends

a day

darkly dressed

pensive and lean

You had on rectangular

PREMISE ON “MENTAL ILLNESS”

There is no such “thing” as “mental illness.”  There is no true illness which can be said to be entirely “mental” unless it is derived from an organic source such as a brain tumour.  There are no physical attributes in the human body which can point to this description.  There is no pre-determining test for “mental illness.”  The psychiatric diagnosis used to determine the supposed state of “mental illness” is opinion-based at best, and most often this opinion is not shared by the individual in question.  At worst this opinion is often shared by family members, friends, and society as a whole, creating a kind of trap or “Catch 22” for the individual.

What we see when we attempt to use this stigmatizing and false description of “mental illness” is an array of human self expression which may be affected by, or resulting from, changes in environment, sleep patterns, physical activity, thought, perception, interaction with others, or any conglomeration of naturally occurring factors which can and do affect all of us as human beings.

We are variable and complex.  To lump any of us into “categories” of “mental illness” is a grave disservice to humanity.

SEA-CHANGE

The Hawk Outpost 10:15am

I have risen to The Gleam Of Silver

aeons in the making

having set Its High

& clung to It

I will witness The World’s

turn-around

from the light of gold

to The Shower Of Silver —

from the day of the yellow metal

to The Night of The White

Don’t Walk Away, In Silence*

The Tomato-coloured Couch NOON

Gold is too warm

Silver is tarnished

like The Humanity

it represents

The Cold Truth

of believing in Our Selves

Our Bodies

Our Aspirations
