here on Gully’s Deck —

He nestled down by The Steps

& I thought 2 photograph Him

for posterity —

butt of course as I got up

2 retrieve my phone from The Kitchen,

He got up,

& instead of nestling down again,

as I hoped,

He did His Beautiful Arabesque,

not just once

butt w His other leg as well,

& so I complimented Him:

“Oh, how Beautiful —

such A Beautiful Gully –“
