Star Quantity
by Joanna Gilman Hyde
Aeons ago eye read somewhere
that more stars exist than all the grains of sand
on all the beaches of this Earth
and aeons ago eye wrote somewhere
that eye did not believe this statement
I believe the stars are finite
but are forever forever changing
transforming into ourselves
If stars are infinite but not forever, are they then finite? —CC
Eye used to believe in infinity but now im not so sure. Just believe in TRANSFORMATION.
If infinity doesn’t exist, then how can we be talking about it – huh – tell me that, Miss SmartyPants! 🙂
Chagall Time does not exist. The stars exist until they turn into us. We exist forever and ever through spiritual reincarnation and/or having our spirits STAY within our bodies (as eye have determined MINE WILL). NOTHING “began” and NOTHING “ends.”
So will there be a day when all the stars have turned into us, and we are existing forever as reincarnating beings under a starless night? A sunless day? Lots of eternal spirits in the dark, if I read you correctly.
We turn into stars and stars turn into us. Both will always exist.
(Chagall never got to see this reply as it was not addressed to him, and consequently he turned into a star.)
Yay! Im at McDonald’s with nothing to do but exist.
Might as well super-size while you’re there.
