I have a black cat, too! I knew we were alike in more ways than one.
What’s yours named? Mine’s named Astro (he came with that name from the pound but I added Jasper Cosmo.)
My cat was originally named Dr. Jones (after Indiana Jones) but is now simply referred to as “Mew Mew.” We’re not entirely sure why 🙂
