MY MOTHER’S DIAGNOSIS

I was told My Mother wouldn’t live
through the spring
I vowed to My Self
I would not feel the pain
of Her Loss
I kept My Vow

This poem, with its stronger lopped off ending, points to the major decision that you made—-that you would no longer feel anything. Everything that happened in your life later stemmed from that decision, much of it heartbreaking. I see in your writing and decision to start painting again that you are now feeling life. This makes me so happy—for both of us, but mainly for you. It is wonderful to be a part of this. Much love!!!
Thank you so much for this. I love You!
