It’s been a while. I believe the link you’ve posted above to 5 WTC wiki page is broke. Should be:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_World_Trade_Center
best – Chagall
Good to hear from you Chagall, but I have tried to change the link and it keeps coming up with a listing of several 5WTC sites. With advertisements, but the page I want is at the top of the list. Thanks for listing the direct link here.
Do you know what happened with the Video Data Bank? Could they have gotten scared off with my insistence that my WTC project is involved with 9/11?
re: the Video Data Bank – As I am not privy to your correspondence with them, it is difficult to comment. I would say that if you did tie the project to 9/11 rather than to 5 WTC and the spirit of NYC prior to that incident, then perhaps they are viewing inclusion of SOG with caution, erring on the side of Art sans any additional factors. In my own mind, I can toggle the 9/11 tie on and off, and must say that I think there is greater appeal with the toggle off, allowing the event and the work to stand on its own merit letting others infer their own and alternative meanings. —Chagall
Thank you for this response. I appreciate your insight.
You are welcome. And please know that I am still interested in working with you to get your bio up on the Wiki Art Portal; I have just been swamped these past weeks with various and sundry items. —CC
When you have the time let me know what you need from me — and where is the Wiki Art Portal? I guess I can just look it up.
