ON A CLEAR DAY

Why do I feel so much better?
is the same question as
Why do I feel so terrible?
There is no one answer for either
so I will revel in My Contentedness
and dismiss the recollection
of Darker Days
Wise approach.
Thanks Ben. It seems to be working.
“Ce qui survient convient.” . A fine motto,. (But not always so easy to follow.) 🙂
My French isn’t that great — could you translate?
“Whatever arises is acceptable.”
This translation might diverge from the original source (which I translated into French because I loved the assonance) from a Philip K Dick book that at the moment I don’t have easy access. It is the only thing, or one the few things, that one of the characters ever says. The character comes from another planet, and I don’t remember if it is an android or a “living” being. Please forgive me; it is many years since I last read it. Clearly, however, that short phrase has remained with me, due to the power if its insight.
This IS something I go by. Thank you. (But of course, if something is UNacceptable I often try to change it.)
Bonne chance. (Good luck) 🙂
I just thought of a pun for “Whatever arises.”
This is a well-balanced equation, to a query of pros and cons. I love it. Thank you for visiting and the like on my post.
Thank you very much for this comment. I’m glad I found you.
You’re welcome. I’m glad we connected too. Have a great day. 🙂
Thank you for following my blog. I read all of your recent post, and was impressed.
