Very nice. I really like it.
Thank you Theresa — I’m so happy you’re still (mind?) reading me.
No mind, enjoying it!
I like it as well. Would make an interesting first verse of a song. 🙂 —–Chagall
Thank You. Do you write songs? I would like to write songs but my mother did her best not to encourage me to sing. I guess the poetry is IT.
I dabble in music as I do poetry, alternatives to howling from rooftops. 🙂 —–Chagall P.S. Curious as to why you were discouraged from song?
When I was around eight my mother told me once I couldn’t carry a tune, and then when a second-grade teacher (who was much more encouraging) put me into the chorus of Chicken Little, I spilled chocolate milk all over my dress. I’ve never tried to sing since, though I am very much aware I have a strong voice which carries — I hope to places I want it to go.
