       I’m sorry. I had forgotten. Yes, I wrote this, although it is actually an expansion of a joke I heard or read somewhere in the 1970s. It has popped up in my mind from time to time ever since and I decided I wanted to “capture” it. I write everything that is posted on my sites unless stated otherwise.

     I rarely attempt to compose in prose, but this piece came quite easily, and prose seemed a better format to use than poetry.
