Joanna, you are in a magical mood this morning 🙂 Your past two poems are extremely captivating – this one especially. Bravo!
Thank you so much, Natalie — maybe here’s where I should put this:
Instead of saying
“I’ve been in My Bathrobe All Day”
I could Have My Shower
get back in My Grey Robe
& say, “Oh, I’ve just gotten out!”
(which is precisely what I’ve done — I don’t even want to get dressed to check the mail — postal mail that is)
Ah, that is the greatest luxury! I’m right there with you. There is no greater joy than writing away at a poem in my pajamas by the window after a morning rain 😉
A major part of this great day is the participation of my treasured readers.
