THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS INSANITY
by Joanna Gilman Hyde
The Hawk Kitchen 6:42pm
just suppression by anti-psychotic drugs
all things yelled should be heard
& if My Dreams are interfered with
My Sleeping Pattern could get in trouble
–
I’m free now, drinking beer
in My Kitchen
with a cat on the foot stool
My Husband napping before supper
My Prophecy unravelling
as I write
& the sky — I have to write
about The Sky:
It is ponderous
laden with cloud
in varying greys
It Is Beautiful
& I Love It
Your sky sounds/looks like
how my sky looks
(I love it too)
And Here Are The Peepers.
Like clock work…
Kris, I hope you find a great new sky, with Peepers thrown in.
Beautiful Joanna! 🙂 I love the bit about the sky.
Thank you! It’s Natalie, right?
Yes ma’am!
Are you really fifteen, or are you disguising your age?
Yes, I am very much fifteen. 😉 Please don’t let that influence your opinion of me too much, though. I renounce age.
From what I have read on your blog and in your comments, you seem like a very mature fifteen-year-old. I am flattered that you are reading my poetry.
Thank you so much, that means a lot to me 🙂 And your poetry is fantastic, please never stop writing!
fifteen?? darling, you are a magic fifteen!
“all things yelled should be heard”
