I saw An Angel Once
— while My Mother lay dying —
She Flew from Left to Right
amidst The Bows of A Lofty Pine
I told My Mother Where To Look
for Belly, Arms, Sleeves
She turned Her Head, My Mother did
so She Never Leaves
Perfect! I love the angel’s belly, that was my favorite part of both versions!! Your mind is its own wonderland about which I get curiouser and curiouser.
Thanks for the inspiration and this comment. On this blog I feel I am an open book — pun intended.
As you should be, puns and all!
