“WRITE IT BEFORE SUPPER”

Write It —
there is No Such Thing As Schizophrenia
Those Voices are valuable
They’re trying to tell You something:
Like Write This
There is no suitable “new” name
for schizophrenia
It is not a condition of derangement
There Is Purpose
in The Brain’s Meanderings
The Meaning of Life
may be found in Its Depths
–
Note: One of my favourite songs just came on the radio —
You Sexy Thing by Hot Chocolate
TOO PARANOID
He started whispering to me one night
From the wall beside my bed
Said he needed my help
That the secret police
Were controlling his thoughts
With microwave radiation
So that he wrote poems
Which they could use if they ever needed
Evidence of his insanity
And this is one of them
Which he was too paranoid to write down
So he got me to do it for him
After all, he says
I live in a democracy
And it’s quite safe here
Thank you for this.
No problem. My pleasure. I just thought you might like it, and it does kind of chime with yours.
Thank you for reading my blog again. Did you know this poet personally?
Are you the poet and/or is this a collaboration?
Well, I could tell you the answer to these questions, but then I would have to kill you. 😛
