POT O’ SILVER

The Hawk Dining Room 8:17pm

Tonight I see

a rainbow

complete

over The Atlantic Ocean

& Tonight I question

the wonder of My Halo

seen again Today

for forty minutes

of intensity, distraction

& sacredness

of Human Vision

CLOUD STREAK

The Hawk Corner Room 8:17am

Is that a dramatic bank of fog

or illuminated low-lying cloud

out across My Calm Horizon?

It tapers off

to the south

is thickest to the north

& how I wonder

what weather

it has in store

HERE

The Hawk Corner Room 3:53pm

I was That Pouty Child

stomping Her Left Foot

when She couldn’t see

G-O-D written in The Sky

Forty-five years later I am

looking at The Clouds

billowing behind streams of flurries

out over The Ocean

when the notion of God

is no longer literal

MY SKY

My Sky is trying It’s damnedest

to calm Me down from reading

Bloomberg’s endorsement of Obama

— citing climate change —

My Sky Clouds are Silver in The East

& carry One Magnificent Sunset

in The West —

I am eternally thankful for My Beautiful Sky

& nobody’s gonna mess with It —

GET IT?
