LATE SUN

The Hawk Kitchen Outpost 8:13pm

I went to sleep

how many nights?

in My Summer Child’s Room

in Jordan Bay, Nova Scotia

the oldest child of a single mother

from the sixties —

in that little room at the head of the stairs

I saw The Sun against

My Far Wall

and  I tried to close the curtains

but The Light came in

anyway and I

went to sleep

MARCH 22

The Hawk Kitchen Outpost 7:52am

The Sea is black today

against a clouded sun

& I am supposed to get My Armature

to begin the sculpture

of a man who

refuses to die

TRANCE TREMORS

The Hawk Exercise Room:  10:11am

EYE catch The Sun

in My Foetal Pulsating Fingers

as I hold up My Left Leg backwards

My Right Hand comes forward

illuminated and red

LOOKING UP

The Hawk Kitchen Outpost 7:36am

The Sun has risen

much further North

than I expected

& I am to execute

a sculpture of Hunter’s closest friend

whose eyes are up & open

to the surprise of his

final moment

WHERE WE ARE TODAY

The Hawk West Desk Window 9:55am

Before The Dawn

Of Our New Era

We Are On The Cusp of Night

We Are Silver Now

As The Moon

As The Midnight Hour

Of Transformation

From The Golden Sun

Into That Precious Rarity:

Our Star-patterned

Future

SUN GLOW

The Hawk Kitchen Outpost 7:28am

I see the pale disc

of sun, looking like a golden coin

on the rise

through a streak of cloud

moving into its halo

soaked up

by its own illumination

NEWS FLASH

The Hawk Computer 6:04 pm

My Husband, Dr William Hunter Blair, now believes

that My World Trade Center Roof Top Painting from 1984

titled Self Organizing Galaxy

may have given someone the idea

for 9/11

Self Organizing Galaxy by Joanna Hyde

NOTICE TO MY READERS 222

EYE have not been writing much —

EYE have been making recordings into M(EYE) cell phone

in-which M(EYE) Husband does not seem very interested.

AND NOW TO CHECK ON THE MOON

The Hawk Kitchen Outpost 7:46pm

EYE get to see

The Sun rise

through M(EYE) New

Faux Lash

It’s not up yet

EYE will put the coffee water

on

— There — at 7:50am

flutter, flutter

I SAW THE MOON SET & THE SUN RISE

The Hawk Window Seat 1:30am

I let The Moonlight

in along the floor

& across My Seat

where the toilet sat

& across My Bed

where I dreamt

of a depression of sun

on My Forearm

belonging to someone
