THERE’S A RAINBOW IN MY CUP!

The Hawk Deck 8:49am

I love My Corny Apparition

of A Rainbow

in My Coffee Cup

seen only as I drink

— I checked to see where

It was coming from

and as I nod My Head

The Delightful Glitter

zooms through The Refraction

of My Eye-wear

as I stand in The Eastern Sun

POT O’ SILVER

The Hawk Dining Room 8:17pm

Tonight I see

a rainbow

complete

over The Atlantic Ocean

& Tonight I question

the wonder of My Halo

seen again Today

for forty minutes

of intensity, distraction

& sacredness

of Human Vision

BECAUSE YOU ARE HUMAN

The Hawk Kitchen Outpost 7:46pm

You can feel anything

even a rainbow

no matter how faint

because You are Human

You can see The Colours

and appreciate Them

You can feel The Colours saturating Your Blood

and tingling The Soles of Your Feet

as You stand at Your Dining Room Window

THE RAINBOW POEM

The Hawk Deck 6:55pm

I looked for a rainbow today —

the conditions seemed ripe for one —

all I got to see

was a pink sky in The East

after supper

a grey sky & salmon clouds

I wondered if I

might be in one

DAY TRIP TO HALIFAX

8:06am

I see a backwards rainbow

circling around the sun

My Adulthood is on a collision course

with My Childhood yet undone

THE SUN SETTING IS A CELESTIAL OCCURRENCE

God Made That Peach

or Did That Peach

have The Know-how

To Make Itself?

Why Is There Something Rather Than Nothing?

If There Were Nothing

No One Would Know

& There Would Be No Question

Rudder’s, Yarmouth, NS

We are teetering on The Brink

of abandoning God

which We Must Not Do

for then We would Be

Abandoning Ourselves

THE HAWK DECK 8:25pm

Tonight I See

Oh — where did It go?

I See, I Write

an ink blot

White Ink

against a grey page

of Sky

8:39pm

Why on Earth is That Sun taking so Long?

It’s preparing to make a Rainbow

— a full arc with rainbow ripples

on The Inner Edge
