in All Forms:

Our Wealth of Individuality

Our Wealth of Spirituality

Our Wealth of Divine Intelligence

& Our Every-day Intelligence

We are going somewhere

& that Place is

The Here & Now

Join Me In My Fundamental Guidance

–You need not be “saved”

You, We, Need To Be Applauded–

Applaud Us, Ourselves

We Are The Ones Who Are Praise-worthy

God is Our Audience

Yet God is Our Substance

Our Flesh & Blood

Our Brains

Our Mind

The Silver Torch Is Lit

for Us

The Inseparable

THE HAWK DECK ANNIVERSARY

Today is One Year

from when My Friend Craziest Horse

uploaded Self Organizing Galaxy

onto YouTube–

I am a YouTube Artist now

with a solid 1,535 views under My Vest

and a career that’s unfolding

into the 2nd half of My Life

THE HAWK DECK 3:30pm

I am waiting in The Fog

with audible surf

and the occasional call

from a sea bird

waiting for The World

to collapse

but I somehow doubt It will:

The World is like A Very Strong Mother–

She may lie down for a nap

but always fixes supper

She may live in Her Bathrobe

yet maintains Her Modesty

She cleans when She feels like it

and gets Her Children to clean up

after Themselves

She loves everybody in Her House

Her Home is Her Sanctuary

She Is Her Own World

TIME IS OUR MEDIUM

I am checking My Views

for Self Organizing Galaxy

@ 9:11am & 9:11pm

Atlantic Standard Time

THE HAWK LIVING ROOM 7:00pm

I placed My Bejewelled Left Arm

upon the cushion of My Sofa

The Left Hand of Which

became My Grandmother’s–

The Hand My Mother Saw

in a tree

The Night My Grandmother Died

THE HAWK LAUNDRY 10:30am

I dreamt of My Daughter

age 4

in a Red Velvet Dress

running across a field

to Me

laughing

I called out to a nearby friend

“I Made Her

including untidy & rude–”

Scooped Up My Beloved Child

& Kissed Her Red Left Cheek

Today I Hand Wash

Her Teenage Underwear

I Straighten Out Her Thongs

Hang Up Her Red Bra

On The Laundry Rack

To Dry In The Sun

BARRINGTON PASSAGE 2:30pm

I spied a pregnant woman

out behind Dr Blair’s office–

I was in My Car

in The Shade

an hour from My Pregnancy Test

which was negative

Dressed in Black & Red

She Shaded Her Eyes

& looked up at The Elm

where I married Dr Blair

in a ceremony

I care not to remember:

My Father

assigned to “give Me away”

called up the apartment stairs

for Me to hurry

and reluctantly doled out punch

while I sat

beside My Cake

THE HAWK BEDROOM 9:22pm

For Eliza’s First Camping Trip

with A Boy

She & He bought A Six-man Tent

A Pink Fishing Rod

They rigged & set minnow traps

out of plastic pop bottles

& just drove out Our Driveway

in The Boy’s Big Black Truck

to get last-minute groceries

Eliza’s Made Reservations for Their Grounds–

Camp Fires are Regulated

The Fire Index is High

THE HAWK PORTICO 5:22pm #2

How incongruous that I should hear

The Jays of Valley Cottage

Here on Cape Sable Island

where I am so far removed

from My Growing Up–

or aren’t I still growing?

Here I feel I Have Arrived–

My Destiny has been laid out

on My Grandmother’s Silver Tray

on display atop

My Mother’s Mahogany Drop-leaf Table

Here in My Hawk Living Room

THE HAWK KITCHEN 7:22am

“What’s a Woman like You

doing in a Place like This?”

–Camera View:  from back of black oven

w/ Woman looking in

leaning on elbows

–View to rivet My eight-year-old frame:

Black w/ White Star Spatter

How am I Here in this Black Space?

Now white with tomato spatter
