WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A PARENT?
It means to love your children unconditionally and not to give in to manipulation and power plays, on their part or yours. It also means to tell the truth when asked, and not answer with a distorted or mythical pretence. A child’s imagination is beguiling, but a parent’s fear of the truth can be confusing or even dangerous.
