BLACK LIGHT 2

The Tomato-coloured Couch 3:00pm

I come from The Body

of Black Light

In Death & Sickness

I abide

to shine out

for Reconciliation

I am The Stamp

of Desperation —

Humanity gone

awry

in order

to See

SINISTER STAR

The Tomato-coloured Couch 2:22pm

I have painted

The Sinister Star

It is lying/drying/dying

on My Basement Floor

to be erected

upon My Living Room Wall

where It will rise above Me

as I sit on My Tomato-coloured Couch

writing of Its Existence

I AM TRULY HAPPY

The Hawk Deck 11:22am

I have succeeded

in painting out

The Shower Of Silver Lights

They will stream forth

from the wall above

My Tomato-coloured Couch

& They Will Be Divine

TODAY’S CANVAS

The Hawk Portico NOON

I am dressed to paint

My Killer Lines

of Dagger Points

in My Black Lace Bra

& Black Jesus Underwear

I hear The Chickadee’s

approval

before I begin

I just have to draw

The Silver Blades

out

I Got My Canvas Today

The Tomato-coloured Couch 6:19pm

My Mother’s Brain Tumour

is dying

on the basement floor

is soon to be

enveloped by

perhaps a silver heart

but

the “roots”

will

survive

MY MOTHER’S DIAGNOSIS

The Tomato-coloured Couch 5:00pm

On This Day in 1991

I was told My Mother wouldn’t live

through the spring

I vowed to My Self

I would not feel the pain

of Her Loss

I kept My Vow

FORK, KNIFE, NAPKIN

The Hawk Dining Room 6:22pm

I Am Setting The Table

for 2

coming out of disaster

to abide Together

after the flack & flap

subside —

I Am Setting The Table

for The Feast Of Love

& no one is invited —

or is The World?

God Says…

The Tomato-coloured Couch 6:46pm

“I Have A Very Simple Message —

It Should Not Be Hard To Grasp:

Man Is God

Is All I’ve Said

&

I

Am

Woman”
