"Good Morning, World!"

Tag: Atlantic Ocean

FLY BY

The Hawk Deck 10:45am

I (EYE) am eking out

the last of The Summer Air

out here on My Summer Deck

with a load of sparse laundry

on the line

a military plane flies

over to The North

circles over the ocean

around Our House

& We don’t know why

MORNING DRINK

The Hawk Deck 10:22am

I stand with My Glass

marked LIFE

in the sun of early fall

I glance to the gleam

on the ocean top

& devise

My Future Call

DECIDUOUS MORNING

The Hawk Queen Bed 8:50am

This Morning I spied

on the globules of Silver

undulating through My Neighbour’s Tree —

Oh how They sparked!

on the stillness of water

& I gazed until I blinked

the golden lime

of My After Glow

MORNING APPROACH

The Hawk Kitchen Outpost 8:59am

Silver on The Water

Silver in The Sky

The Thermometer is low

The End is (nearly*) Nigh

I am wide awake

The Coffee Pot is on

I have My House full of guests

ungrateful for The Dawn

*redundancy

FOG LINE

The Hawk Kitchen Outpost 7:55am

The Sun Has Risen

Above A Bank Of Fog

Obscuring My True Horizon

Creating A Softer Line

Couching The Sun’s Reflection

In The Ocean

Underneath

GULLY

The Hawk Queen Bed

8:00 am

a disheveled looking Gull

got His Breakfast

of 1 slice of white bread

thrown in chunks

left-handed

like a girl

WATERY SKY

The Hawk Kitchen Outpost 9:50am

I looked for A Silver Streak

out upon The Water

& saw A Silver Cloud

instead

meshed within

The Sky

parallel to

My Horizon

OUTDOOR MAGIC

The Hawk Deck 1:16pm

The Hedgerow Rustles

Like The Waves —

Each Swoosh Swooosh

Sinks Into Me

& I Soak Up The Agent

Of My Life

SEPTEMBER MORNING

The Hawk Kitchen Outpost 8:05am

This Morning’s Light

has blended into The Sky

The Houses on The Beach

are silhouetted against The Sea

The Hedge Row rustles

through My Outpost Window

Our Coffee has been steeped

CAPTURED

The Hawk Kitchen Outpost 7:24am

The Sun This Morning

is a milky Gold

radiating out

through My Cobwebbed Window

The Sea is sky blue

& still

with a couple

of fishing boats

decking The Horizon
