"Good Morning, World!"

CLEANING FLUID

The Hawk TV Room 12:05pm

I Sprayed An Arm

Of The Galaxy

Across A Glass Table

Nobody Saw It

But Me

SILVER SUN

The Hawk Outpost 8:45am

Moving in and out

between The Clouds

My Silver Sun

greets Me through The Mist

and says Hello to The World

illuminating

My Silver Sea

VENUSIAN

The Hawk West Desk Window 9:22pm

I stepped out of My Cheap Grey Capris

onto The Shores Of The New World —

in My Wake are carried The Multitudes

in My Reach The Hands Of Men

I’ve known, and will know

as I live My Life-long Pursuit

across That Breadth Of Existence

to which I have been birthed

THE MILKY WAY

The Hawk Portico 5:00pm

I Am A Galactic Citizen

spelled out on the bronze flyleaf

of My Diary — housed

within the confines

of outer and inner space

where nothing happens

with-which We are aware

except by Way

Of Human Ejaculation

At The End Of My Journal

The Hawk West Desk Window 6:34pm

My Famous Shower Of Lights

was not blinding

Its Radiant Spears

Snapped Me To Attention

and Made Me See

For An Eternity

GALACTIC CITIZEN*

The Hawk Kitchen 7:10pm

In The Briefest Moment

I Saw The Spiral

Of A Particle Of Dust

Against The Black Of My Cell Phone

And Suddenly Understood

The Necessity Of FORM

Before My Breath

Took It Away

WE LEAVE OUR PRINCESSES

We leave our Princesses

trapped in Their Towers

no matter what F. Scott Fitzgerald said

to His Wife-to-Be

ninety-one years ago

I am still Towered

but not scared – only mad

deciding not to invite

the few friends I have

to see My Castle

on The Sea Shore

with My Husband @ work

while I lie on The Couch

“You’re Going To Write & Take Care of This House”

I will be Under – stood

as I Stand within “the Mists of Time”

as The Houses sit with skirting mist

wafting off The Frost

hovering below The Tree Line

I see The Silver out there
in lateral striations over The Ocean —
It must be apprehended, reigned in
not just by Me – through Me

Let Me Look @ It Again

when The Silver first came
in The Shower of Lights
I was stultified, stupefied
forced to call on Christ

now I see It Here
in My Life’s surroundings
so Christ must call
on Me
