Unfixed
There’s an unfixed crack
along my driver’s side windshield
and today it blazed abright
at one point, globular
along my highway vision
and so Eye had my sparkler, lit

Yesterday Eye sent a letter
for which there will be no reply —
It didn’t warrent a reply
but Eye wonder what the reader thought
when Eye confessed to Him
that Eye would never let go —
Yes it was one of THOSE
Eye stood 4 shoulders deep
@ the front of the stage
for 6 hours @ least
getting M(eye) ears blasted
by Hard Rock
a couple of lovely songs
& whoopla yells
from a fat girl next to me:
Eye was designated VIP
because of an error in M (eye) $200 ticket.
Eye soaked up M(eye) $750 space
crammed in w/ fellow revellers
until night time fell
over The Giant Stage —
@ 11:00 20,000 fans
had 2 leave The Stadium
& Eye found lodgings
not in M(eye) car as planned
butt in a skanky motel
(complete w/ cop cars)
which charged Me $350
so Eye could shower & sleep.
Eye ate my scrambled eggs
on a glass top table
glistening underneath with dew
Eye sat
like a good little girl
listening to the surf
and the gulls
“Sitting Pretty” is on M(eye) Bedroom Wall
Again
The Flattened Coca Cola Can
sits against Its reddish floral background
& M(eye) Signature Black Drips
w/ 4 Red Sequins
ensconces Its Form
Unsold
2 be admired by Me
Alone
Eye have a summer dress
seen by The Prime Minister
of Canada — He’s still
The Prime Minister
& Eye wear My Sleeveless Dress
of grey floral patterning
close-fitted
to The RCMP
where Eye have been asked
to make my statement
against the 92 year old
who needled two
of my tires
at the dance
last Saturday
Our Sun is the most
important blob of existence
in Our Sky
It affects
Our Climate
and feeds Our Earth.
All that We are
comes from The Sun
and Eye love It:
This Exotic Star
The waves are audible
subtle & sweet are the birds —
a deer just grazed
& disappeared
The Cat Molly
didn’t mind
vacating my seat —
a black folding chair
at my grandparents’ wrought iron table
set out here
on this old deck
affording my enjoyment
of true tranquility
Yesterday Eye found a shell
considered then laid away
upon the sand, discarded
until today as Eye walked along
deciding that should Eye find it
for a second time
Eye would claim it —
Lo & Behold
it was there
in all its curly-cue —
no one else had picked it up
no wave had come that high
so Eye retrieved it
as a man nearby
hefted an old lobster trap
he said was garbage —
Eye called it “Flotsam”
and he laughed
Eye stepped into a pack of Humanity
The Final Product
of the slaying of pigs and chickens:
Food Fest in Yarmouth
where Eye wore hand-embroidered roses
from Mexico given to me
by My Daughter
and My Famous Straw Hat
with bow of black
to spend $21.00
on one chicken leg
one partial rack of ribs
from the bank of BBQ carriages
Eye picked “Billy Bones”
to stand in a haphazard line-up
where one man sourly glanced
but later sat between two women
while Eye sat at another long white table
to partake of my purchase
and then walked around
and around again
and decided to take my chewed bones
home.
