The Tomato-coloured Couch

It would seem

each year

there’s a youngster

of Gully’s —

I’m starting 2 lose track —

one year it was Heckle & Speckle

then it was Junior —

now it’s an anonymous

bleating brown one

(as they all are)

& Gully regurgitates food

for him

& I worry

I’m not feeding them

adequately —

butt My Deck

cannot be a feeding station

for every Tom, Dick

& Harry
