is fascinating —

w/ His strong long Beak

He cleans each pinion feather

tipped in black —

then fanned-out tail

& fluffs His downy white.

He tucks His Head beneath His Breast

& beneath the “elbow” of His Wing —

intricate

structure for flight

coloured warm grey

for distinction.
