Against The Steep Incline
Along Route 9W
For XMiss
& Someone Had Brought
Their Pet Lion
(or Lioness As It Didnt Have A Mane)
Eye Brought A Puppet —
A Kind of Hobo Marionette —
That Eye Set Up On A Tree Stump
In The Back of The House
Against The Hillside —
It Had Very Long Wires
Which The Lioness Activated
By Accident (of Course)
& Let Her Self Outside.
M(eye) Brother Howard
& Lee Keating
(Old Neighbour of Mine & Peter’s)
Arrived & Eye Was w/out Gifts.
Lee & His Longtime Wife
Were Separated In The Dream
& Were Having XMiss Separately.
Eye Was Attempting 2 Set Up
Little Ornamental Christmas Trees
Also In The Back of The House
For Lee & Howard
As Supposed Presents
While The Lioness Was Still Outside.
Howard Had The Doors Open
Throughout The House
In Order 2 Encourage
The Lioness 2 Come Back In
As Eye Said, ” If The Doors R Open
That’s The End of Hilbert –“
(Our Jack Russell From 1992)
Finally The Lioness Came Back In
& Lay Along The Threshold
of The Back Door
Whereupon There Was A Loud Knock
& Nobody Knew Who Was There
Butt Somebody Sang Out:
“DON’T STEP ON THE LION!”
& The Door Burst Open
& It Was An Electrician
Who Tripped Over The Lioness
& Dropped A Chandelier
& Broke It w/ Scattered Glass
& Eye Cried Out
“DON’T STEP ON THE GLASS!”
Thinking of The Lion’s Vulnerability.
Eye Started Cleaning Up The Glass
w/ The Electrician
(Who Was From Halifax)
Explaining 2 Him
That The Pet Lion Was Friendly
Butt Unpredictable.
There Was Also A Tall, Dark-haired Guy
Who Eye Was Romantically Interested In
Until Eye Happened 2 See His Penis
& It Was A Shrunken Knob
Much Like 1
Eye Had Been Disappointed By
Months Earlier
& Said 2 Someone
It Wasn’t Even 1 Step Above
The Inadequate Penis
of M(eye) Prior Engagement.
NOTE: Eye Had Exclaimed Before
The Lioness Had Gotten Out
That Eye Loved (Him) — The Lioness
& Felt That Eye Was Saying That
@ Least 2 Try 2 Stay Friendly w/ It.
The Funny Dream Ended w/ Me Serving
A Pork Chop 2 The Lioness
Whom Eye Felt All Along Was A He
Rather Than A She.

Hmmm…a Lion (whom you loved) without a mane and a man without a knob. Who can say. Perhaps it was a Mountain Lion. They don’t have manes but are still quite powerful and lovable.
Maybe size does not matter if it’s Mr. Right….especially if he likes your cooking 😁🦁.
P.S. I’m trying to think where along 9W this might be
Thank you for your well thought comment. The house was along the part of 9W before you get to Nyack above the Thruway where there were a couple of glass houses designed by a highschool friend’s father Mr Winter.
Okay, so South 9W. Probably may new homes there since you’ve been back. I also remember cute little Hilbert when I visited you.
