I only just now realized You have a posted response. I am excited by it, your reply(s) and the engagement in general. As for the key, what I wish is to unlock the truth (My Truth?) behind the link between Self Organizing Galaxy and 9/11
I am fascinated by your idea of there being a link between Self Organizing Galaxy and the events of that day. Is there a process you envision for arriving at that truth? Would you be disappointed if no such link existed? I think there is an obvious link simply because of the venue. The title of your piece was prophetic in a sense as well. Whether there is what one would call a causal nexus, I do not know. Do you have reason to believe that there might be? Guide me in how I might assist you here, as I want to approach this with the right tact and decorum as I believe this to be an important topic for you. —Chagall
I painted a Bull’s Eye for The Twin Towers and when I mailed the video from German Television to my father who was living in Saudi Arabia in 1984 he never received it. I believe it was confiscated by the mail police (formal name?) and circulated through various Muslim factions which would probably have been inflamed by the display of a beautiful Western Woman doing and achieving such a public and powerful act. I believe the bombing in February 1993 was instigated by My Painting and that 9/11 was Coup d’etat.

Just getting in. You have provided here a great deal to think about, re your rationale for believing that you perhaps were the impetus. That is a tremendous burden to consider and to bear. I would like to mull over your reply timestamped – ironically – at 9:11 today. There’s something I would like to pursue. When you sent your Dad the original video in 1984, was it the very same video that is posted today on YouTube? And can you be more precise regarding where your send originated from?
Also, I didn’t quite follow your reference regarding the feminine form and the 2 legs. Was that a reference to the Towers or something else entirely? —CC
Yes, these “legs” were The Twin Towers.
The video I sent to My Father in Saudi Arabia in 1984 was about two hours of original raw footage shot by German Television with some repeated shots — from which the 68 minute Youtube video was edited. I mailed it from an address in New York City — I believe I was living on St Mark’s Place at the time. As for My Work being the “impetus” and subsequently a huge burden for Me — I would instead feel the huge relief of the burden via DIS-COVERY. Please understand that I am exceedingly hopeful that You will continue this dialogue with Me and that perhaps through it We can UN-COVER the essential dichotomy between the Muslim and Christian religions.
Ok, so help me out a bit here – ala Jerry McGuire – so that I might help you better. Are you thinking that I can assist you as a sounding board to bounce your ideas against to gain an others point of view on the validity of how you are thinking about things, or are you seeking hardcore evidence to support or discredit your theory? The former is doable. The latter would be an extraordinary undertaking.
Regarding the uncovering of the essential dichotomy between the 2 religions, appreciate that I am a Roman Catholic and therefore not versed in Islam, except for what I know from university world religion courses and media exposure. What are you actually thinking we could accomplish here?

If I may ask, what did your Father do and what was his reason for being in Saudi Arabia at the time?
My Father was working in the shipping business, in various companies for about 25 years, but I never knew exactly what he was doing. Who is Jerry McGuire? All I really want is My Youtube video to go viral, like a kid.
Have you never seen the movie “Jerry McGuire?” Which video – Self Organizing Galaxy or Good Morning World? Both?

I have very recently re-watched ‘Good Morning, World.” (GMW) It is brilliant. Too much to say about it to say anything meaningful compressed here. Brilliant in every subtle dimension – it is a work of poetic and film art. It is somewhat difficult to reconcile the two versions of you that one encounters across those 2 videos. I think Self Organizing Galaxy (SOG) is great but too long for viral-potential. You need a trailer, a shorter version to pair with the 3:30 minutes of GMW. (Would you be offended if I referred to the videos as GMW and SOG from now on 🙂 ? Then a 3rd piece to bridge them, the reconciling piece between the versions of you. A Gilman-Hyde Trilogy of sorts. 🙂 Again, 3:30 minutes. Actually if all 3 came in at 3:20 you would have a 10 minute piece that spoke to the ages.
Just thinking out loud. I either write here or go write a poem at Alphabet City.
But GMW is incredible. The words, tone, persona(e), visual, eyes, depth and breadth of sincerity of the plea – are beyond any doubt and I think the film is an awesome work of art. Just like the Romper Room Lady.
