"Good Morning, World!"

THE DUST PAN

The Hawk Queen Bed 9:30pm

I’ve swept God under

The Rug

& tidied up My House

I’ve gotten out

the extra chairs

& rolled My Carpet up

I’ve set My Records

in a stack

ready for The Guests

We’re going to have A Party

in My Place

& My House will be

all the neater

with excessive laughter

& dancing faces

where No One questions

Heaven

& has no fear

of Hell

THE PLAY

The Hawk Kitchen 9:30am

Yesterday I put on a play

for My Husband —

I dressed in Eliza’s Black Satin Robe

& My World Trade Center Earrings

took My Wedding Rings Off

& declared to WHB

that He houses

The Most Dangerous Woman In The World —

then the gold and silver pin holding My Robe

exploded off Me

causing Me to change

into My Silver Grey

with Earrings of Dangling Gold

from Africa

& rhinestone bracelet:

a bauble of The Earth
