Why Don’t I?

Why don’t I just think
about God the way
Everybody Else does?
How much simpler would My Life be —
My Writing?
Would I quit bashing My Head
against the proverbial brick wall —
Would I join the rest of Humanity
if I believed in creation —
How can I believe in creation when I believe
We’ve never NOT existed
& that WE are responsible
for Our Own Realities?

Thank you again, Ben. I watched the video and I agree with what it presents. My problem is classic: I had (or am having?) a spiritual experience which has formed my reality into a state of mind which I feel is THE reality — does this make me a pig-headed religious fanatic? I think it might. BTW, I will use every platform at my disposal, and this one especially, to say THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SCHIZOPHRENIA.

Please explain why you view yourself as having a “problem”. I am not meaning to say that you *don’t* (or that you *do*). I should like simply to understand more specifically what your view of your situation/problem is.

As R.A.W. points out in the video, it is about language, the words we use and our beliefs and emotional reactions to those words, Exposing and unpicking those beliefs and reactions is the way forward. Until we can do that we remain “stuck”, which is limiting, and often uncomfortable as well.
I just came across a poem of mine I’d forgotten. There are, of course, so coincidences. 🙂

Thank you Ben. You have succeeded in making me realize I don’t really “have a problem,” I just have a perception which I am trying to convey in my poetry, and I am trying to help wake up The World to The New Reality where psychiatry is re-examined and where gold and silver become our new monetary policy, and abortion is no longer legal. As for aliens landing, I would like to see that too, so that we may understand our origins.
Although there might be some differences in belief/opinion I think you and have a very similar overall objective, don’t you agree?
