NIGHTFALL

From My Bedroom Window
The Sky View to The North West
affords, at nightfall,
a scape of salmon-coloured clouds
low to The Cape
glowing above the stalky spruce
with The Cape Light shining
flashing, emitted
from The Luminous South
I have never been to Nova Scotia but your lovely poem has helped me to imagine it. I am not sure I could write one about the view from my house in Welwyn Garden City, UK, as it is on a housing estate in a commuter town. Dream on! John.
Thank you for your encouraging comment. I do love it here.
