the higher up They go

above the tree tops

the better Their cries will carry?

Or when They are in open air

between the trees

like The Crows & Grackles

squabbling today

over what?

Nesting Rights

or small fry?

CONCERN

There may be only so much

I can write about birds

bird life & song

the lull of the waves

has made Me strong

but I must wait

for the outcome

of a medical concern

involving My Children’s Grandfather
