GULL SNAX

I just put a couple of month-and-a-half old
English Muffins
torn up, out for The Gulls
Who squawked & swooped upon the feed
immediately
getting bulges in Their Gullets
while I got a pang
of wishing I had more —
Oh! I do!
The Remainder of a loaf of Newfoundland Bread
which I dumped in the wet grass
but for some reason didn’t tear up the over-sized slices
& The Gulls had to compete with The Crows
Who could fly away with a whole piece
and not drop it
Diversity.
Yes and is there any Reconciliation of Opposites here?
Are you not the one in the best position to judge?
I liked it! Vivid and unique.
Thank You for your enthusiasm!
Stunning! “& The Gulls had to compete with The Crows / Who could fly away with a whole piece / and not drop it”
You are an enchantment to us all.
You are so complimentary I hardly know how to respond, except to say that your comments always mean a lot to me. I take them to heart.
I’m glad! It is always a pleasure to read your work 🙂
