When I Close My Eyes
I See The Seething Mass
of Humanity, like a swarm of bacteria
covering the habitable parts
of This Earth
I see Them undulating
in Their Sex
in Their Food Consumption
I see Them in Their Veins of Traffic
Are They Building
Monuments
to survive
or Are They Sleeping
Like Me
until
I Wake Up, Get Up
to look in The Morning Mirror
at My Messy Hair —
Will We Wash Our Faces
In The Light Of The Sun
Or The Light Of The Moon?
